GuardAero presented its Active Protection System APS-1 together with the Austrian Armed Forces on Technology Day at the Europa-Forum Wachau.
“The Technology Day at the Europa-Forum demonstrates that innovation delivers real impact when developed in close cooperation with the operational user and translated into a capability for deployment. Our excellent cooperation with the Austrian Armed Forces and the Federal Ministry of Defence in the field of counter-drone defence is crucial to achieving this,” emphasised Lukas Kerschdorfer, CEO of GuardAero FlexCo.
APS-1 is GuardAero’s active protection system for military vehicles, designed to autonomously protect soldiers against close-range drone attacks. The system can be integrated into a wide range of existing military vehicle fleets. At the Europa-Forum Wachau, APS-1 was presented on an Austrian Armed Forces vehicle.
